Now go back abotu 1 mm with your tying thread and fold back the wing and tie it down with a few hard turns. Whip finish here and varnish.

Next cut off all the CDC sticking out from under the wing to create a nice CDC underwing. Also, but this is optional, cut it flat on the underside. Also cut off and CDC fibers that are too long, or rather you pluck them to the right lenght.
