Some of the coolest fishing you can have is with terrestrials of any kind. Late summer or early fall there can be magic with ants, hoppers and... beetles! This is a fly that quite sum up the type of flies I like to design and fish with, and possibly the types of flies I am most known for. This is not a hard step-by-step, it demans a little patience and that you prepare the materials correctly. Check it out in the flytying section and I hope you'll enjoy!
