Step2

Take one porcupine guard hair and tie it in with one single figure eight winding. Any more will create bulk and "ruin" the thin smooth body. You can if you want soak the hair in water for a short while before tying it in to avoid the risk of it breaking when winding it. I have found thet it works equaly well just to wet you fingers good and then stroke the hair a few times before winding it.

Depending on where on the hair you tie it in you will get different colours. In the example I tie it in so that I can get about a third of the abdomen light and the rest black.
