The tying

You can use almost any dry fly hook for this fly, I often tie it on a size 14 TMC 100, but you can also use a Patridge BNX15 like I hace done here.

Cut off the front of the feather-body so that it is the size you want (about 2,5 cm works for me) and tie it in somwhere around the middle of the hook with about 4-5 turns of thread.
