Step 4
Now for the combined tails and wing!
Start by chosing two hen feathers of the same size and put them togheter tip to tip so that they curve away from each other.

Next you meassure them to the hook so that the tip of the feather sticks out about 1.5 - 2 cm beyond the hook. Stripp of the fibers on both sides of the feathers to adjust the right length. Finally strip of fibers from the underside of the hook so that there is a bare quill along side all the hook but an intact feather tip on the back like on the photo.
