Head: Epoxy glue
Hook: 1/0
Eyes: Doll eyes
Wing: Angel hair, dark grey, silver, light blue and dark blue

It's fun when you can take a great existing pattern and "upgrade" it to something that actually fishes better and is easier to tie. The orginial "Baltic Herring" was a good pattern bot lacked a little volume. The new version moves much better in the water!

This fly is very insipried by Michael Jensens "Angel hair baitfish" with a colour that makes it look more like the herrings of the baltic sea. If you want the fly to fish deeper you can simply just add a dumb bell or any other weight to the hook.
