Back from river Rena in Norway |

So we are back from three days at the river Rena in Norway. What can I say, fishing was a great dissapointment due to worste imaginable conditions. We came up at friday at noon and got to fish the whole afternoon and evning. The river was extremly low, proof that they still hadn't opened the dam to raise to river, so we just kept our fingers crossed that it would stay like that for the whole weekend.
There were occasional fish rishing but the fishing was very slow, at least we did caugh a fish each during the afternoon during a brief period when the fish seemed willing to bite. We got some rain showers but nothing like what was gonna hit us later. Evening fishing was a little better with Anders cathching three more small graylings and then all of a sudden Kalle catching a really nice grayling at 1,1 kg!

Eventhough we didn't get any long trip together this summer most of us has still been away fishing here and there in northen Sweden. Ronny did the same thing that Magnus and Rikard did last summer, went to Russia for a week of dream like trout fishing! Back from a short fishing trip to Vättlefjäll in the Gothenburg area, Sweden. Elmer member Björn and Ronny was there together with a friend Lasse to enjoy the mayfly season for trout.
Some small trout’s were C&R, but unfortunately we didn’t catch any large ones this time.

Elmer fishing trip 2010 - Pike! |

So we are back from this years "Elmer goes pike" fishing trip. Most of the Elmers were there, only Rickard and Björn missing, and also a few friends of ours came along. With some 35 pikes caught it was the best pike trip so far, the only set back was that most of them was around the two kilo mark. But we had a great weekend anyway with lots of laughs and fun! Most of the Elmerfishing gang is now away for the first fishing trip of the season. Pike and maybe sea trout is what's on the venue! See you all when we get back! |
